District & Session Judge

A District & Sessions Judge is the highest-ranking judicial officer in a district, heading both the District Courts (civil matters) and Sessions Courts (criminal matters). They hold administrative control over the district's judicial officers and serve as the principal appellate authority for subordinate court decisions.
