Applicable Quota

Candidates must apply as per educational qualification, experience and their regions (as per domicile). They may apply in more than one category if they meet the criteria.

Quota distribution includes Merit, Punjab, Sindh Urban, Sindh Rural, KPK and Balochistan.

Instructions for Candidates

1. Eligibility of candidates shall be determined on the basis of applicant qualification, performance in written test and interview (70% Written Test + 30% Interview).

2. Candidates already serving in Railways or any other department shall apply through proper channel along with NOC.

3. Incomplete applications or applications carrying incorrect information shall be rejected.

4. If any document provided by candidate is found bogus during recruitment process and afterwards, the appointment will be treated as cancelled and legal action may be taken.

5. Initial contract period is for one year which may be extendable for a further period of one year subject to satisfactory performance.

6. All officials appointed against contractual appointments may undergo training at Pakistan Railways Academy Walton or Land Directorate for duration as deemed necessary.

7. Selected candidates will be posted anywhere in Pakistan Railways system in the concerned category.

8. No TA/DA shall be admissible for test/interview.

9. Selected candidates are required to pass prescribed Medical Examination.

Important Notes

1. Pakistan Railway reserves the right to reject any application(s) or suspend/cancel the process without conveying any reason and may alter the number and distribution of vacancies.

2. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.

3. Interested candidates may apply through Pakistan Railways Career Updates Tab up to 10 June 2026.

4. Postal Orders worth Rs.1500/- as processing fee for each application must be attached with hard form application and sent to the Chief Personnel Officer, Pakistan Railways Headquarters Office, Empress Road, Lahore.

5. No application shall be considered without processing fee (postal orders).
