Required Education
Academic requirements range from Matriculation (2nd Division) with a mandatory 3-year Patwar Course for Revenue Assistants, 3-Year DAE in Civil Engineering for Land Inspectors, and Bachelor's degrees (BA, BSc, LLB, BBA, BS Civil Engineering, BS City & Regional Planning, BS GIS) up to Master's/MS/LLM degrees from HEC-recognized institutions and professional council accreditations (PEC/Bar Councils).
Required Experience
Candidates must possess 2 to 15 years of post-qualification field, judicial, or technical experience depending on the scale. Senior managerial and inspection roles require specialized backgrounds in land administration, real estate management, geographic information systems, civil engineering works, contract law, or revenue service (such as retired Tehsildars, Qanoongos, and retired Armed Forces officers).
Eligibility Criteria
Selection is based on an evaluation comprising a Written Test (70%) and Interview (30%).
Age limit is up to 62 years for BPS-16 to BPS-18 equivalent posts and up to 30 years for Revenue Assistants.
Open to all Pakistani citizens under prescribed provincial quotas (Merit, Punjab, Sindh-U, Sindh-R, KPK, Balochistan).
In-service government/railway employees must apply through the proper channel with an official NOC.
Selected candidates will undergo medical fitness examinations and mandatory training at Pakistan Railways Academy Walton or Land Directorate.
Salary / Pay Scale
Appointed personnel will receive fixed emoluments equivalent to BPS-09, BPS-16, BPS-17, and BPS-18, including annual increments, TA/DA, and medical facilities from Pakistan Railways Hospitals.
