📋 General Information & Selection Guidelines
Age Relaxation: Relaxation in the upper age limit may be granted to suitable candidates as per statutes / rules.
Quotas: The quota for disabled persons, minorities, and women will be observed as per rules.
Degree Validation: Degrees only from HEC recognized Universities/degree awarding Institutions will be considered. Foreign degree holders must submit their equivalence certificate(s) issued by the HEC, Pakistan.
Government Servants: Candidates presently working in Government, Semi-Government, and Autonomous Bodies must send their applications through proper channel only. On-Line applications submitted without NOC / Advance copy shall not be entertained.
Domicile Mandate: An appointment, other than under the tenure track system or faculty, shall be made from amongst the candidates domiciled in the Punjab.
Shortlisting & Testing: Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview. No TA/DA will be admissible. The University reserves the rights to conduct any test / screening for the shortlisting of candidates.
Tenure: Initial appointment will be made on one year on contract and it will be extendable subject to satisfactory performance. The University reserves the rights to increase/decrease or totally withdraw the vacancies without assigning any reason.
📝 How to Apply Online or Offline Step-by-Step
Online Profile Submission: Applicants are required to apply online through the university job portal at web.ue.edu.pk/jobs/. Fill out the online application form carefully as no editing will be allowed after submission.
Fee Generation & Payment: Applicants are required to print the system generated fee challan and deposit the job application processing fee as mentioned on the challan in any branch of Bank of Punjab. Applications submitted without a deposited system generated fee challan will not be entertained.
BS-19: Rs. 4,000/- (Non-Refundable/Non-Transferable)
BS-18: Rs. 2,500/- (Non-Refundable/Non-Transferable)
Compile Hard Copy Pack: Print the pre-filled online application form and sign it. Attach one set of attested copies of CNIC, domicile, all educational documents/certificates, experience certificates, and any other relevant documents along with the deposit receipt / deposited system generated fee challan.
Mailing Target: Submit or post the complete signed hardcopy folder to the Registrar Office, University of Education, College Road Township Campus, Lahore.
Timeline Closing Date: The closing date for submission of online applications and deposit of job application processing fee is 20.07.2026 within office hours. Printed online application forms along with all attached documents must be submitted on or before 20.07.2026 in person or via courier. Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date (even dispatched through courier) will not be accepted.
