• Nautical (Deck) Cadet

  • Required Qualification: F.Sc (Pre-Engineering) or equivalent with at least 55% marks.

• Marine Engineering Cadet

  • Required Qualification: F.Sc (Pre-Engineering) or equivalent with at least 55% marks.

Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality & Marital Status: Unmarried Male Pakistani citizens.

• Age Limit: Maximum 21 years old as of December 31, 2026. Candidates belonging to FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, AJK, and Balochistan are eligible for a 1-year age relaxation.

• Educational Qualification:

  • Passed F.Sc (Pre-Engineering) or equivalent O/A-Level (with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry) with a minimum of 55% marks.

  • Candidates awaiting F.Sc Part-II results can apply based on a Hope Certificate from their college head certifying they will secure at least 55% marks.

  • O/A-Level students must submit an Equivalence Certificate from IBCC.

  • Note: Holders of Associate Engineering Diplomas (DAE) are not eligible.

• Physical Endurance Test (PET) Standards:

  • Running: 1.6 KM (1 Mile) within 8½ minutes.

  • Push-ups: 15 repetitions in 2 minutes.

  • Sit-ups: 15 repetitions in 2 minutes.

  • Chin-ups: 02 repetitions in 2 minutes.

Selection Process & Test Date

1. Entrance Test: A written entry test will be conducted by a hired testing service on August 9, 2026 (Sunday) at regional centers including Gwadar, Karachi, Lahore, Muzaffarabad (AJK), Peshawar, Quetta, Sukkur, Multan, Rawalpindi/Islamabad, and Abbottabad.

2. Medical & PET: Shortlisted candidates must pass the military hospital medical examination and the Physical Endurance Test (PET).

3. Interview: Candidates clearing the initial phases will be called for interviews.

4. Final Merit: Final selection is strictly based on the combined merit of academic scores, entry test performance, and medical standards. Successful candidates will complete a 2-year residential training program at PMA.
