Available Vacancies & Structural Requirements
The MIRAD wing recruitment drive consists of the following 9 seats:
1. Manager Cadre (BPS-19 Roles)
Manager (Legal / Contracts) — 01 Post
Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Law (Higher qualification like a Diploma in Contract Law preferred).
Experience: Minimum 12 years' experience with 05 years as a High Court practitioner. Knowledge of power sector contracts, power sales/purchases, and competitive electricity markets is preferred.
Age Limit: Up to 50 Years.
Manager (Planning & Forecasting) — 01 Post
Qualification: Master / BE / BS Electrical / Electronic Engineering (16 years education) with minimum 60% marks from an HEC recognized university. Active PEC registration is mandatory.
Experience: Minimum 12 years' experience with 05 years specifically in power distribution and planning. Must possess skills in transmission and demand forecasting.
Age Limit: Up to 50 Years.
Manager (Contracts Management & Regulatory Affairs) — 01 Post
Qualification: Master/Bachelors equivalent to 16 years degree in Engineering / Finance / Accounting / Law / Management Sciences from an HEC recognized university. Computer literacy is mandatory. PEC registration is required for engineers.
Experience: 12 years' experience including 05 years in Contract Management & Regulatory Affairs.
Age Limit: Up to 50 Years.
2. Deputy Manager Cadre (BPS-18 Roles)
Deputy Manager (Legal / Contracts) — 01 Post
Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Law (Diploma in Contract Law carries preference).
Experience: Minimum 05 years' experience with 02 years as a High Court practitioner. Requires understanding of power sector legal framework, sales/purchases, and competitive electricity markets.
Age Limit: Up to 45 Years.
Deputy Manager (Finance) — 01 Post
Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) / ICMA member, OR MBA/equivalent (16 years education with a major in Finance). Computer literacy is mandatory.
Experience: For CA/ICMA, no experience is required. For MBA, minimum 05 years post-qualification experience in Audit and Accounts within public/private sector utilities or corporations. Knowledge of cost accounting and bilateral contracts/bidding processes is preferred.
Age Limit: Up to 45 Years.
Deputy Manager (Demand Forecasting) — 01 Post
Qualification: Master / BE / BS Electrical / Electronic Engineering (16 years degree) with at least 60% marks. Active PEC registration is mandatory.
Experience: Minimum 05 years' experience including 03 years in demand forecasting and transmission planning.
Age Limit: Up to 45 Years.
Deputy Manager (Regulatory Affairs) — 01 Post
Qualification: Master / Bachelors equivalent to 16 years degree in Engineering / Finance / Accounting / Law / Management Sciences. PEC registration is required for engineers.
Experience: Minimum 05 years' experience including 03 years in regulatory affairs.
Age Limit: Up to 45 Years.
3. Assistant Manager Cadre (BPS-17 Roles)
Assistant Manager (Demand Forecasting) — 01 Post
Qualification: BE / B.Sc / BS Electrical / Electronic Engineering (16 years education) with at least 60% marks. PEC registration is mandatory. Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
Experience: Minimum 03 years' experience including 01 year in demand forecasting and demand forecasting functions.
Age Limit: Up to 35 Years.
Assistant Manager (Transmission Planning) — 01 Post
Qualification: BE / B.Sc / BS Electrical / Electronic Engineering (16 years education) with at least 60% marks. PEC registration is mandatory.
Experience: Minimum 03 years' experience including 01 year in transmission planning. Candidate should possess understanding of transmission planning at 132 kV level and capital budgeting.
Age Limit: Up to 35 Years.
Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: The prospective candidate must be a Pakistani Citizen.
Education & Experience: Explicit matching credentials as tabulated per post block. HEC equivalence is mandatory for foreign degrees.
Age Limit: Up to 35, 45, or 50 years maximum as stated per designation on the closing date. Age relaxation as per policy in vogue in MEPCO has already been included in the maximum age limits, and no further relaxation will be granted.
Exclusions: Candidates must not have been dismissed, removed, or compulsorily retired from any public/private sector service. Candidates with a criminal record, financial misconduct background, or declared willful defaulters by any bank are disqualified. Candidates dismissed from any organization on ethical grounds are ineligible.

Only candidates fulfilling the benchmark metrics will be shortlisted for the written test. No TA/DA will be admissible.
