The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has announced new civilian career opportunities for Pakistani nationals. Both male and female candidates can apply online or visit their nearest PAF Information and Selection Center. Since the testing framework is fully computerized, candidates are expected to possess basic computer handling knowledge.

1. Medical Assistant (Male & Female) – BPS-09

• Age Limit: 18 to 25 Years

• Educational Qualification: * Matriculation with Science (Minimum 60% marks) with at least 33% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, along with a minimum of 47% marks (70/150) in English.

  • For ex-servicemen: Must have passed the Class-I Nursing/Medical Assistant trade course equivalent from the Armed Forces.

• Quota Distribution: Merit: 02, Punjab (Women): 01, Punjab (Male): 06, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 01, Sindh (Urban): 01, Sindh (Rural): 01, Azad Kashmir: 01, Balochistan: 01, FATA: 01.

2. Driver (Male Only) – BPS-04

• Age Limit: 18 to 30 Years

• Educational Qualification: * Well-versed in reading and writing local/English languages.

  • Must hold a valid driving license (HTV or LTV) and possess 2 years of verifiable driving experience. Candidates must pass the specific driving skill test conducted at Air Headquarters.

  • Note: Armed Forces ex-servicemen must belong to the Same Trade (Driving/Transport) to apply.

• Educational Qualification: Must have high proficiency and skill in cooking Pakistani food dishes.

• Quota Distribution: Merit: 04, Punjab: 25, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 06, Sindh (Urban): 04, Sindh (Rural): 05, Balochistan: 03, Azad Kashmir: 01, Gilgit Baltistan: 01, FATA: 01.

📋 Selection & Evaluation Procedure

1. Online Testing: Candidates will undergo intelligence, academic, or professional skill tests via computers at designated selection centers.

2. Medical & Skill Examinations:

   • Medical Assistants: Evaluation and final review are managed by the Air Headquarters Selection Board.

   • Drivers: Must pass a physical driving test organized through the Air Headquarters Transport Selection Board.

   • Cooks: Cooking skill demonstrations will be checked by the Air Headquarters Food Services Board.

3. Medical Clearances: Final selection depends on medical clearance checks by the PAF medical boards. Successful candidates can be posted to any PAF base or station across Pakistan.

🧓 Upper Age Relaxation Rules

• General Relaxation: The standard 5-year upper age relaxation is already included in the advertised age brackets.

• Ex-Servicemen: Armed Forces retired personnel can receive relaxation up to 15 years or the number of years actually served in the military (whichever is less).

• Government Servants: Semi-government and regular government employees who have completed 2 consecutive years of service receive an upper age relaxation of up to 10 years.

• Scheduled Castes & Minority Communities: Candidates from Buddhist communities, recognized scheduled castes, Balochistan, Sindh (Rural), or FATA receive an additional 3-year relaxation.

📝 How to Apply Online

1. Visit the official recruitment portal of the Pakistan Air Force between June 15 and June 28, 2026.

2. Fill out your details, select your target civilian post, and register your CNIC/Form-B.

3. Print your registration slip, which will display your specific computer test date, time, and center location.

4. On the test day, bring your original CNIC/Smart Card, educational transcripts/matric degrees, domicile certificate, and passport-size photographs to the selection center.

5. Center Operational Timings: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. No TA/DA is provided for tests or interviews.
