Nawaz Sharif Cardiology Centre (NSCC)

The Nawaz Sharif Cardiology Centre (NSCC) was inaugurated on October 1, 2025 by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz at the Syed Muhammad Hussain Government Samli Hospital, Murree. It marks the first renovation and upgradation of the hospital since its establishment in 1930. For decades, residents of Murree suffering from heart conditions were forced to make the difficult journey to Rawalpindi for treatment, a critical challenge during cardiac emergencies. NSCC Samli was built to close that gap, bringing specialist cardiac diagnosis, intervention, and care directly to the hill station and its surrounding communities. The centre houses a dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Lab, the first of its kind in Murree, and is fully stocked with essential cardiac medicines.
