National Police Foundation (NPF)
The National Police Foundation was established in March, 1975 as a Trust under the Charitable Endowments Act 1890 for the benefit of Police personnel and their families. It is headed by a serving Inspector General of Police. The Cabinet Division vide Notification No.4-11/2019-Min-I dated 23.12.2019, placed “National Police Foundation” in the Autonomous Bodies list of the Interior Division. A Board of Directors, headed by the Secretary, Interior Division as Chairperson and Managing Director, NPF as Member-cum-Secretary supervise the working of the Foundation.
