Key Policy Revisions

Pursuant to the decision of the Provincial Cabinet on 20 October 2026, the following major relaxations have been approved for CCE 2026:

• Upper age limit is relaxed up to 33 years for the current CCE 2026 process and for upcoming competitive examinations across a 3 year period. Permissible attempts have been increased from three to five attempts.

• Screening test passing score is modified to 33 percent (66 marks out of 200), with negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer, replacing the earlier 40 percent (80 marks) qualifying benchmark.

• Candidates who already applied do not need to apply again. Their previous applications remain valid, though they may update documents or correct errors on the portal.

• All other conditions stated in Advertisement No. 04/2026 remain fully operative.
